The Club received some very good news from the Autism Academy For Software Quality Assurance (AASQA). It's about Liam Picen, a year 10 student at Willetton Senior High School (WSHS) whom the Club sponsored to attend the ConocoPhillips Science Experience in 2015/16. Liam is a member of the Autism Academy and has displayed an exceptional aptitude for software quality assurance. Earlier this month he received the Starwards Trailblazer Award presented by retired NASA astronaut Scott Parazynski, from the Global Engineering Excellence Centre at Engineers Australia headquarters here in Perth. He received the award for successful completion of the International Software Qualifications Board software testing certificate which is usually only completed by university graduates. It's a tremendous achievement for one so young and is just another reason to feel pleased with Club's decision to support of the Academy.
