Friday October 7 2016 was Hat Day, an initiative of Australian Rotary Health (ARH), one of the largest not-for-profit funders of mental health research in Australia. 100% of the money raised during this year's Hat Day campaign goes directly to research helping the one in five Australians affected by depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and many other illnesses.

At the preceding Monday night meeting on 3 October 2016, Club members and guests got into the spirit of it by wearing a wide variety of distinctive headgear.......as the following photos attest.

President Simon opened the evenings meeting in a very fetching green and silver glittery hat and reported that he and Ian Ross would be collecting on Hat Day at the Bull Creek train station between 7am and 9am, as are other Rotary Clubs throughout Perth.
